Your Mission

We are looking for a primary school teacher for teaching mother tongue Finnish.

We estimate that the need is about six hours a week including planning time. You will plan, implement, and evaluate the educational work in collaboration with colleagues.

You will be employed at Sandarne school but teach at various schools in the Söderhamn municipality.

The position is a fixed-term employment with the possibility of extension.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a Swedish teaching degree and teaching certification. It is an advantage if you have experience working in primary school and have previously taught Finnish as a mother tongue. Other documented teaching qualifications are also advantageous. We also expect you to have grades in Swedish/Swedish as a second language at the high school level or equivalent within SFI.

You take initiative, are independent, and start activities while achieving results. Furthermore, you find it easy to work with others and listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. You are outgoing and socially active in professional contexts.

You are guided by goal- and result-oriented thinking in your priorities and change direction when goals change. We want you to be structured and able to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively. You set and adhere to deadlines and value diversity, understanding how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others. You listen and are receptive to the other party and adapt to the situation.
